Program Description

The purpose of the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation and Immediate Need Program is to:

• Assist very low to moderate income owner occupied elderly, disabled or single-families.Also, to lengthen the useful life of their homes by restoring their homes to a level of compliance with applicable building/housing codes. Establish safety, sanitation, locally adopted rehabilitation program standards, housing quality standards, and reasonable levels of comfort and livability.
  
  
• Prevent and reverse deterioration and blighting of neighborhoods.
  
  
• Administer appropriated public funds in full compliance with all conditions and requirements stipulated by funding source entities as well as comply with corresponding Policies and Procedures of Odessa Affordable Housing Inc.

The program design is currently set-up to provide services within the city limits of Odessa, Texas. We are looking for funding that would allow our organization to service citizens within Ector County. Currently these families have no assistance from any organization, therefore there is a great need for help in these neighborhoods.
